The Shield’s In-Mold construction uses an expanded polystyrene foam core with a durable polycarbonate shell to absorb and displace impact.

An adjustable chin-strap and rear adjustment dial permits a range of sizes with an ergonomic design for extra active comfort. A fixed vent airflow system keeps the head cool through longer climbs while four clips allow for a head torch to be fitted for low light outings.
